To DIE to ourselves means…

Turn from Worldliness – We will not seek the culture’s approval. More than that, we will put to death what is worldly in us, seeking to crucify fleshly desires because we belong to Christ. This world is not our home, it has no claim on us, so we will not live like citizens of it but sojourners in it.

To LIVE for more means…

Turn toward Holiness – We will seek the approval of God and set our minds on things above. Because of Christ, we are called to live holy as he is holy, knowing this is only possible by the empowering of the Holy Spirit. Living out of the grace we have been given, we will choose to live as lights in the darkness, pointing others to Jesus.
