Turn from Consumerism – We will not seek an ever-expanding consumption of material, intellectual or spiritual gain for ourselves or our nuclear families knowing that consumption makes us earthly rich but heavenly bankrupt, biblically knowledgeable but disobedient, outwardly moral but internally unfaithful.
Turn toward Generosity – We will see ourselves as stewards, not owners, of time, talents and material treasure; spending this stewardship on the needs of others even before our own if called. We will live life with margin for others. We will not limit our generosity to our surplus but give out of our substance.
